About me
Gamarjoba! I am Daria, a Ukrainian well-integrated in Tbilisi, mom of two sons, wine educator and book author.
Mother in Georgia is a blog born in 2022, together with my first child. I spent a lot of my early motherhood days hanging out with other moms of small kids who were more new to Tbilisi and Georgia.
It was clear that what was normal or almost normal to me, was not so obvious to the others. I decided to share my real-life experience of building a family in Georgia - no ultimate housekeeping lifehacks, no 100500 recipes of BLW meals, as I'm continuing to work - but just things I find useful, some personal stories, and a bit of extra research about places, prices and activities.
My lens can be a bit blurry, as I speak Georgian well and have less usual expat problems, so please let me know what YOU might like to know.
